World Day to Combat Desertification 2013: Don't let our future dry up!  
In 1994, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 17 the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought (WDCD) to promote public awareness of the issue, and the implementation of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This year's theme is drought and water scarcity. The goal of the 2013 WDCD is to create awareness about the risks of drought and water scarcity in drylands and beyond, calling attention to the importance of sustaining healthy soils as part of post Rio+20 agenda, as well as the post-2015 sustainable development agenda.

World Environment Day (WED) is the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action and is held on 5 June every year. WED celebrations began in 1972 and have grown to become the one of the main vehicles through which the UN stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and encourages political attention and action.

Eurocert new certification field ,ISO 22716:2007 - Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)  
As of 11 July 2013, the European Union’s new Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 will require cosmetic products to be manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Cosmetics manufacturers should prepare for this new requirement now in order to avoid any loss of market approval. Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices are a set of hands-on advice, operational rules and organizational guidelines especially focused on human, technical and administrative factors affecting product quality. The objective of the GMP is to define the activities which lead to the final product corresponding to the expected specifications, and therefore product safety.

ISO 20022 is a family of international financial services messaging standards. It addresses payment initiation (including CGI), account reporting, various administrative messaging including Exceptions and Investigation (E and I), electronic bank account management (eBAM) and X9’s Balance and Transaction Reporting Standard (BTRS), which replaces the BAI standard, it also lends itself to electronic messaging
